A Primary School situated in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work full-time from September 2026. This role will involve working across the school from EYFS-KS2, covering classes PPA time. The successful HLTA will deliver foundation subjects throughout the week and will be responsible for planning in line with the school’s marking policies. This is a larger than average school with excellent transport links from the city centre.
Requirements
- Preferably have experience of working across EYFS – KS2.
- Hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
