Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Durham. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning across the school, working with pupils with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH).
- Lead small group interventions and occasionally cover lessons under the direction of teaching staff.
- Assist with the planning, delivery, and assessment of learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, helping to promote independence, engagement, and personal development.
