We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a small primary school in the Rural Northumberland area, based in the Southeast Hexham area. Within this role, you would be working as part of an established team in Key Stage 2, supporting a pupil in a mixed Year 3/4 class. This would be a one-to-one role, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 13:15pm.
Pupils who attend this school make excellent progress due to the outstanding quality of teaching, and children feel very well supported and comfortable to share their ideas within the classroom.
Requirements:- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- Experience of working in LKS2
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system (subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications).
