£460 - £490 per week (salary depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This Primary School in the Morpeth area (NE61) is currently recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant to work on a full‑time basis from September 2026. The successful candidate will work in a mixed KS2 class with pupils from Year 3 to Year 6. The class has high levels of SEN pupils; therefore, experience of supporting additional needs would be desirable. The role is full‑time and will run for the full academic year in a small good school where staff go above and beyond to ensure each child succeeds.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with primary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
