The School and Role

We are looking for an Early Years Teacher to work in a friendly and welcoming primary school in Morpeth, Northumberland. Working as part of an established team, the desired Early Years Teacher will be teaching Nursery. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability therefore an experienced teacher would be preferred, however newly qualified teachers are also welcome to apply. This is a large Nursery unit which includes two experienced Teaching Assistants. The role will be part time, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week 8.30am 3.30pm. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Early Years Teacher will have;

  • Experience of working within an EYFS setting or class
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • QTS within the UK
