We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. This vital role involves providing tailored, individual support to a pupil with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with children, staff, and parents. Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with autism, speech and language difficulties, or social-emotional needs is highly desirable.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Has experience working with children with special educational needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, learning differences)
  • Is patient, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with learners
  • Understands the primary/lower secondary curriculum in English and Maths
  • Holds a valid DBS check (or is willing to obtain one)
  • Can deliver consistent, reliable support with clear communication
