Vision for Education is seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive special needs school in Walsall. This full-time role, starting in September, offers a rewarding opportunity to support primary-aged pupils with moderate learning needs, helping them to flourish both academically and personally.

The Role:

  • Personalised Support: Work one-to-one and with small groups to help pupils engage confidently with their learning.
  • Inclusive Environment: Support the creation of a safe, nurturing, and respectful learning space for all students.
  • Long-Term Opportunity: Commit to a consistent, long-term placement, providing stability and continuity for learners.

About You:

  • Confident in supporting a variety of learning and behavioural needs.
  • Experience working with children with additional or complex needs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or happy to apply) and able to provide relevant references.
