This specialist secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a caring and motivated SEN Teacher to support pupils aged 11–19 with autism and additional learning needs. The school is part of the Think Differently Education Trust and provides a highly inclusive learning environment with specialist sensory spaces, vocational learning facilities and outdoor education provision. The successful SEN Teacher will deliver tailored lessons that support communication, independence and personal development across a range of abilities.
Requirements
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND and autism
- Experience of planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- A passion for supporting young people with additional needs
- An ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
