Vision for Education is looking for enthusiastic and caring graduates to join our SEN Teaching Assistant supply team, supporting specialist primary and secondary schools across Coventry from September 2026. As a leading education recruitment agency, we provide staff to SEND schools on a day-to-day basis. You'll initially join our supply register, offering flexible work while gaining hands-on classroom experience, with regular opportunities to move into long-term, part-time or full-time school placements.
This role is ideal for graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, social work or other child-focused professions.
The Role
You'll support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Moderate to Profound Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD & PMLD)
- Complex physical disabilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping children access learning and develop confidence
- Supporting communication, behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals
