Vision for Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:1 support with a pupil in Year 2 with behavioural needs and an EHCP. This will be working within a mainstream Primary School. There is more than one vacancy available, so we are looking for candidates to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
About the role:
- Working on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting a student in Year 2 with an EHCP/behavioural needs
- Using a child-centred approach to provide the best support for the student’s learning and development
- This Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term role from January on an ongoing basis

About you:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students with a range of special educational needs
- Hold suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
- Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check
