This specialist secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a compassionate and dedicated Complex Needs Teacher to support pupils aged 11–19 with autism and additional learning needs. Oscott Manor School is part of the Think Differently Education Trust and offers excellent specialist facilities including sensory spaces, vocational learning environments and outdoor learning areas. The successful Complex Needs Teacher will join a supportive team focused on developing independence, communication and employability skills for all learners.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children and young people with SEND and autism
  • A passion for supporting pupils with complex needs
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Makaton (18 months – 3 years)
