Behaviour Support Assistants are required to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a specialist Birmingham school. This rewarding role is ideal for resilient, proactive and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Kitts Green Academy is a specialist SEMH provision supporting boys aged 6–16 who require additional behavioural and emotional support to succeed in education. The school is looking to appoint dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to work closely with pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.
Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff, you will help pupils develop emotional regulation strategies, build positive relationships and re-engage with learning. You will play a key role in supporting behaviour management, promoting resilience and encouraging pupils to develop the confidence and life skills needed to be successful both in school and beyond.
