A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support within a Year 1 class. This role is especially suited to candidates with experience supporting pupils with SEND who are passionate about making a meaningful difference through 1:1 support. You will work closely with individual pupils, providing tailored support to meet their specific needs, helping them to build confidence, stay engaged, and make progress both academically and emotionally. Your ability to form strong relationships and adapt your support style will be key to helping pupils thrive.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Experience working with children with SEN in a nursery or educational setting
- A good understanding of the National Curriculum or the subjects that are taught in school
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
