Are you an enthusiastic, bubbly and engaging individual ready for a new Primary Teaching role in a mainstream setting within Salford? The role is to cover a Key Stage 2, Year 3 class until the end of the academic year. The class size is around 29 children and has the support of a TA in class. The role would suit someone who has additional experience with SEND and those that may need adaptive measures to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support.
- Be proactive in your approach building relationships from day 1.
- Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experiences in school for the class.
- Be responsible for a large class within the school, showing respect and care for each student in the class whilst also showing a good level of tolerance.
Requirements
- Hold a QTS (Qualified Primary Teacher Status) and/or PGCE qualification.
- Have previous experience working within KS1 and KS2 classes.
- Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: QTS, Experience.
