Higher Level Teaching Assistant – deliver engaging lessons and support young people with SEND and SEMH needs to access learning, achieve progress, and succeed in the classroom every day.
A specialist SEND and SEMH secondary school in Rochdale is seeking a committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students aged 11–19 who require a highly tailored and supportive approach to education.
In this HLTA SEND role, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and ability levels
- Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs
- Help students develop confidence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN teams to support engagement and progress
- Contribute to a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
