Vision for Education are seeking a Teacher of Physics for our client school in the Trafford area.

About the role

As an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education, the successful applicant:

  • Must be able to motivate, challenge and inspire pupils to succeed in Physics
  • Must be committed to improving the outcomes for all pupils
  • Will hold high expectations of themselves and pupils
  • Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in themselves and others
  • Will be up to date with relevant pedagogy and apply this to their teaching

The successful applicant will be teaching across mostly Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), with a small number of Key Stage 5 (KS5) timetabled hours.

Starting October 2025 until February 2026, this is a part-time role with Fridays off.

Our client school has a rich and varied curriculum. The school supports pupils well, both academically and emotionally and provides a wide range of extra curricular activities that students are encouraged to attend. Students display high levels of commitment to their learning. Behaviour for learning is good and disruption to lessons is minimal.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Physics you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching Physics up to KS5
  • Be able to motivate, inspire and challenge students
  • Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
