Vision for Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support pupils in primary schools across Hyde, Manchester. Opportunities are available from September, with earlier start dates considered for suitable candidates. This is a long-term role with additional day-to-day supply work available for those seeking flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside teachers to support pupils' learning and engagement in the classroom.
- Help deliver learning activities, encourage participation, and provide additional support to ensure children remain focused, confident, and motivated throughout the school day.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups, reinforcing lesson content and contributing to a positive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.
- Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and other support professionals to support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and overall development.

Requirements
- Experience supporting children within a primary school, classroom, childcare, or educational setting, or hold a Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with pupils and school staff.
- Confidence supporting small-group learning activities and adapting to a variety of learning needs.
- A reliable, proactive attitude and the ability to contribute positively as part of a school team.
