The Role
Vision for Education is recruiting Primary Teachers to work on a supply basis across Manchester, with opportunities starting from September 2026. This role includes daily supply and short-term cover across a variety of primary schools within different local boroughs. Teaching assignments will be available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
This is an excellent opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking placements from September, as well as experienced teachers looking for flexible work or to gain experience in different school settings. Full support is provided throughout your teaching journey.
We receive frequent requests from schools for Primary Teachers, and many supply roles progress into long-term or permanent positions where the school is looking to appoint. We are currently working with schools to fill vacancies beginning from September, with both long-term and permanent opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and effective teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 as required
- Demonstrate flexibility when working across different year groups and school settings
- Maintain professionalism when working alongside teaching and support staff
- Adapt confidently to new environments and deliver lessons across the primary curriculum
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE with QTS
- Previous experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to integrate quickly into new school environments
