Creative Arts Assistant (Full-Time, temporary) – Salford

£444 - £475 per week (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

Start date: October 2025

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for people with a Creative Arts background to support children with barriers to learning in a school environment. You will build positive working relationships with pupils and utilise your knowledge of creative arts to help them to get the most out of their time in education. As a Creative Arts Assistant you will gain experience in schools and support a potential future in roles working with children.

Requirements

The desired Creative Arts Assistant will have:

  • A desire to work in Special Educational Needs Schools across Greater Manchester, supporting pupils with barriers to learning, additional learning needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
  • A warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • A creative arts background that can be incorporated into school activities.
