Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible, rewarding work in local secondary schools? We’re currently recruiting confident and capable Cover Supervisors to work across Oldham and the nearby areas, supporting pupils and schools on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis.
The Role
- Play a vital role in keeping learning on track in the absence of the class teacher.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a calm, focused learning environment.
- Support students with their work where needed.
- Take accurate registers and provide clear handover notes for teaching staff.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff.

Requirements
- Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor.
- Be confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a genuine passion for supporting young people in education.
- Be able to provide suitable references, hold a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and have the Right to Work in the UK.
