Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated, qualified 1:1 Tutor to support secondary students in the Southport area who are not currently in full‑time education. This is a flexible and rewarding role, providing ongoing support to help pupils reach their target grades in Maths and English – ideal for educators who enjoy working independently and tailoring learning to individual needs.
Sessions may take place in a traditional school setting, local libraries or hubs, or the student’s home. There is also potential to increase hours up to full time, offering excellent work‑life balance.
Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, TEFL, BA Ed etc.)
- Experience working with SEND pupils
- Strong understanding of the secondary curriculum
- Commitment to regular, scheduled tutoring sessions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible, and learner‑centred teaching style
