As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task with their pre-set work. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting students' progress.Our partner schools in Hall Green are inclusive, supportive and dedicated to providing the best opportunities for their students and staff. Many of our day-to-day placements often lead to long-term or permanent positions, making this an excellent starting point for a career in teaching.
Requirements
The successful Cover Supervisor will have;
- A confident and adaptable approach to classroom management
- Strong communication skills
- Ideally some experience working with young people (e.g. coaching, youth work, tutoring)
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (vision for Education do not offer sponsorship)
*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
