Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a full-time Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming one-form-entry primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a two-term placement, offering an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a longer-term role within a supportive school.
There is also the opportunity to take on supply work before the placement begins, giving you the chance to get to know the school and support them through the busy run-up to Christmas.
The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will take full responsibility for the class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging Year 2 lessons.
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Managing behaviour effectively and consistently.
- Working closely with colleagues to support pupil development.

Requirements
The successful Year 2 Teacher will ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous Key Stage 1 teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to supporting pupils' progress and development.
- Availability for the full two-term placement.
- Two satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
