Vision for Education is working in partnership with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in the East Riding to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a permanent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging Science lessons and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs. The successful candidate will initially work through Vision for Education on a supply basis before transitioning onto a permanent contract directly with the school.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess, monitor and support student progress

Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Science within a secondary setting
- Be confident teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students
- Possess strong classroom management skills
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Be passionate about improving outcomes for young people
