A vibrant, highly regarded special needs school in Wigan seeks a dedicated SEND Teacher to deliver engaging, personalised learning across a broad, meaningful curriculum. You will work closely with experienced support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create inclusive learning experiences that help pupils build confidence, independence, and life skills. The role requires creativity, flexibility, and strong professional expertise.
Requirements
- Recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent)
- Experience working with pupils with SEND in specialist or inclusive mainstream settings
- Strong understanding of Autism, complex needs, and differentiated teaching approaches
- Creative, adaptable, and reflective with ability to tailor learning to a wide range of abilities
- Effective communication with pupils, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to inclusive education, pupil wellbeing, and lifelong learning
