Care Support Workers are required to support pupils with severe learning difficulties, autism and complex needs within a specialist SEND school in Walsall. Mary Elliot Academy is a specialist SEND school supporting learners aged 11-18 with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism and complex medical needs. The school is looking to appoint compassionate and proactive Care Support Workers to support pupils throughout the school day. Working alongside experienced teachers, therapists and support staff, you will help pupils access learning through a highly personalised and sensory‑based curriculum. Your role will include supporting communication and social development, promoting independence, assisting with personal care and encouraging positive engagement both inside and outside of the classroom.
