Vision for Education is recruiting Trainee SEND Teaching Assistants to work within specialist SEND schools and alternative provisions across the Trowbridge (BA14) area. About the Role & SchoolsWe are recruiting Trainee SEND Teaching Assistants for temporary, long-term and permanent opportunities across a range of specialist schools in and around the BA14 area. Working as a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including SEND, autism, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties. You'll work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with learning, build confidence and achieve their individual goals.

As a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

- Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families where appropriate

RequirementsTo be considered for this Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant role, you should:

- Be willing to complete training through our National Teaching Assistant Programme
- Be able to provide suitable references

Salary is dependent on experience, training and qualifications.
