Vision for Education is currently seeking Cover Supervisors to work in SEN schools across the Dudley area. Following an exceptionally busy academic year, we're expecting demand to continue to grow, making this the perfect time to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Leadership: Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring students remain engaged and focused on their learning.
- Student Support: Encourage and support students with a range of Special Educational Needs. Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.
- Behaviour Management: Use positive behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe and productive classroom. Respond confidently and professionally to a variety of classroom situations.
- Policy Adherence: Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and health and safety guidelines at all times. Ensure a structured and supportive environment for all students.
- Effective Communication: Work closely with teaching staff and school leaders, providing clear feedback on lessons and student progress. Build positive relationships with staff, students, and the wider school community.

About you:
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and looked after children.
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
