Are you an Experienced Teacher looking for a role that offers flexibility without stepping away from the classroom? Vision for Education is seeking confident Experienced Teachers to provide general cover across a range of secondary schools in Stroud, giving you the opportunity to teach in different settings while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
As an Experienced Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of curriculum subjects, ensuring learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. You will create a positive learning environment, manage behaviour effectively, and quickly build rapport with students and staff.
The role includes:
- Teaching planned lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Covering a range of secondary subjects
- Maintaining positive classroom behaviour
- Supporting pupils to remain engaged throughout lessons
- Liaising with school staff to ensure a smooth handover
- Working on daily, short-term and long-term assignments
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent UK secondary teaching experience
- Excellent classroom management
- Flexibility and confidence teaching different subjects
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
- Right to work in the UK
