Vision for Education is recruiting a dedicated Primary Teacher to work within welcoming and supportive primary schools across the Stroud (GL5) area. We have opportunities available on a supply, long-term and potentially permanent basis, making this an excellent role for teachers seeking flexibility or their next full-time position.
Working as a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, creating an inclusive classroom environment and supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
About the Role & Schools
We are working with a number of friendly and inclusive primary schools throughout the GL6 area that are looking to appoint passionate Primary Teachers from September 2026. The schools offer supportive leadership teams, welcoming staff and well-resourced classrooms, providing an excellent environment for both experienced teachers and those earlier in their teaching career.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire learning
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet individual needs
- Managing behaviour effectively and promoting high expectations
- Supporting pupils' personal, social and emotional development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and wider school staff
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have recent experience teaching within a primary school
- Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Be confident planning, delivering and assessing lessons
- Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Be able to provide suitable references
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
Salary is dependent on experience, training and qualifications.
