The Role
Vision for Education are recruiting Supply Teachers to work across primary and secondary schools in Stonehouse and the surrounding Gloucestershire area. Whether you are looking for regular daily supply, a few days each week or a longer-term placement, we can offer work around your availability and experience.
As a Supply Teacher, you will cover lessons across a range of year groups and subjects, following existing lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will be expected to manage classroom behaviour, engage pupils in their learning and work effectively with other school staff.
We have opportunities for qualified teachers, ECTs and experienced supply teachers, with work available across primary and secondary settings.
What we are looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working within a school or education setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt where needed
- A reliable, professional and flexible approach
- Good communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Two suitable references
