The role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
- Supporting pupils with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD and communication or developmental needs.
- Helping children engage with lessons and develop independence.
- Supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour and social development.
- Adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Confidence in building positive relationships with pupils.
- Previous experience in SEN, education, childcare or a similar support role is desirable.
