Vision for Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across a range of secondary schools in Telford and the surrounding areas. About the role

As an Early Career Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across your specialist subject (or general cover where appropriate), inspiring students and supporting their progress across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working within supportive secondary schools, you will have the opportunity to develop your classroom practice, build confidence, and gain valuable experience in a range of school settings while working alongside experienced teaching professionals. This role is ideal for ECTs seeking flexible work to gain experience, complete induction opportunities where available, or secure longer‑term teaching positions within Telford secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum (where applicable)
  • Teach pre‑planned lessons or adapt lesson plans to meet students' learning needs
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress where required
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students of varying abilities
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and school leaders
  • Follow safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies at all times
