About the role

This job posting is for a Teaching Assistant position in Shaftesbury offering a salary of Β£462.80 per week.

The role involves working within a local SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school, providing support to pupils with moderate learning difficulties and more complex needs on a small group and 1:1 basis. The position will commence asap on a full-time, ongoing basis, with the potential for permanency for the right candidate. The hours are 8:30am start with a finish time from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, depemnding on the day. The school will be looking to take candidates permanent after a successfull temporary period.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in an SEND setting with various needs, be adaptable, reliable, and passionate about helping children succeed. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are also essential. Additionally, candidates must be able to provide suitable references, possess a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check, and have the Right to Work in the UK.
