The role
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you'll play an important part in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment, helping pupils stay motivated and ensuring continuity in their education.
Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school's planning and curriculum.
- Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and placement.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom.
- Adapting learning activities to support different abilities and learning needs.
- Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and pupil participation.
- Working collaboratively with school staff to support learning and progress.
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to engage pupils and deliver effective learning experiences.
- A flexible, professional and enthusiastic approach.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
