Vision for Education is currently recruiting Primary Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Southend and the surrounding areas .
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is confident taking responsibility for a class in the absence of the usual teacher.
The Role
As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary age range
- Manage the classroom and maintain positive behaviour
- Create a calm, engaging and supportive learning environment
- Ensure pupils remain focused and engaged with their learning
- Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced working with children in a primary school or similar setting
- Confident managing a classroom and behaviour
- Able to follow and deliver pre-planned lessons
- Calm, patient and professional
- Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
