Teacher of Computer Science - Preston, Lancashire

Vision for Education is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Preston, Lancashire to appoint a passionate, long‑term temporary Teacher of Computer Science, starting in September 2026.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive department within a well‑established school environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their knowledge and enthusiasm for technology and computing.

Requirements

  • QTS or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons.
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
