The School and Role

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated and nurturing part time Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Newcastle Upon Tyne working Wednesday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing high quality teaching and learning within EYFS. You will play a key role in supporting pupils through this important transition year, helping them to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

Requirements

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in EYFS
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment
• Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Work as part of a collaborative and caring team
• Show enthusiasm, creativity and excellent classroom management skills
