Vision for Education are seeking dedicated, resilient and compassionate Youth Workers to work in a Pupil Referral Unit to work with students aged 7-14.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who may have experienced exclusion, trauma or social, emotional and mental health issues (SEMH) helping them re-engage with learning and build brighter futures.
About the role
- As a Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised assistance to secondary students aged 7-14 with behavioural difficulties.
- Working 2:1 or with small groups to manage behaviour.
- Implement behaviour support plans or Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- De-escalate challenging situations using positive behaviour strategies.
- Help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
- Support students' learning alongside their behaviour needs.
- Help maintain a calm and productive classroom atmosphere.

About you
