The School and Role
A Primary School situated in Durham are looking to employ a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and offer support in the school's SEND provision with children from Nursery - Year 2. The successful candidate will have previous experience of supporting pupils with additional needs and be confident in tailoring learning to ensure all children can achieve to a high standard. This role is set to commence ASAP and continuing on a long-term basis if all goes well.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working across EYFS - KS1.
- Experience of supporting children with SEND.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A calm and approachable manner.
