Advanced Learning Partnership (ALP) Secondary Schools County Durham £92.56 - £105.00 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications) September 2026 or ASAP

The Role

Vision for Education is proud to be the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the Advanced Learning Partnership (ALP) and is looking to appoint caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across the Trust's secondary schools. As the exclusive provider of day-to-day, short-term and long-term supply staffing within ALP, we have consistent opportunities available throughout the academic year. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students both in and out of the classroom, working alongside teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential. Roles may include general classroom support, intervention work, SEND support and one-to-one assistance.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people.
  • A passion for supporting the learning and development of secondary school pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.
