Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Maths teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Newton Aycliffe and Bishop Auckland area for a start in September 2026 for a full‑time role.
The role
The desired Maths Teacher will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside excellent practitioners who put children at the heart of everything they do. The ideal candidate must have experience working within a History department and be comfortable teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
Requirements
- Have experience teaching secondary education at KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary teachers
- Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
