The School and Role
A lovely First School with excellent public transport links is seeking to appoint a dedicated, nurturing and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to join their team. The successful TA will be offering 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 2 with Autism on a part-time basis, Monday - Friday, 08:30-12:30. The TA will work alongside the class teacher, providing tailored support to help the child engage positively with their learning and access the curriculum effectively. This is a long-term role, with potential to turn permanent.
Requirements
- Experience of working in KS1.
- Experience of supporting children with SEND.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A calm and approachable manner.
