The School and Role

A Primary School based in Newcastle Upon Tyne are looking to appoint an upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a part-time role, covering in a vibrant Year 5 class, three days per week from November 2026. The Senior Leadership team are seeking a confident, reliable and knowledgeable teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff and make a meaningful contribution to the classroom. This is an exciting, part-time opportunity for an experienced teacher.

Requirements

  • Experience of teaching in upper KS2.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
  • An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
