The School and Role
A Primary School based in Newcastle are looking to employ a teacher to join their dedicated team from October 2026. The successful candidate will be working within a Year 1 classroom, with all pupils working at varying levels. The school are looking for an adaptable teacher, who has excellent knowledge and experience of delivering the Key Stage 1 Curriculum, including Read, Write, Inc Phonics. This position is open to both Early Career and experienced teachers.
Requirements
- Experience of teaching within KS1 is essential.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
- An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
