The School and Role
A Primary School situated in Newcastle are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work full-time from September 2026. This role will be focusing predominantly on Early Years and Key Stage 1, covering classes PPA time. The successful HLTA will deliver both core and foundation subjects throughout the week and will be responsible for planning in line with the school's marking policies. This is a larger than average school with excellent transport links from the city centre.
Requirements
- Preferably have experience of working across EYFS - KS1.
- Hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification or above.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
