The School and Role
Vision for Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a Primary School in Morpeth (NE65) from September 2026. The SEND Teaching Assistant appointed for the position will be supporting in the Specialist Support Base (SSB) at this school, working with a range of children in KS1/KS2. Due to the nature of the role, some experience of working with children with SEND will be required. This is a 'Good' Primary School, where staff are committed to supporting each child and using adaptive strategies to meet children's needs.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
