Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a well-established college and become part of a supportive and experienced teaching team. The successful candidate will be teaching Maths within a college environment, supporting students to develop their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills and confidence while helping them achieve their full potential.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting after the October half term, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.
Requirements
The successful Maths Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school, sixth form or college setting
- A strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
- A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
- The ability to work effectively as part of an established teaching team
