Smart Teachers is working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in East London to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Supply Teacher for an ongoing role, working four days per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive Mathematics department where you will teach motivated students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is expected to continue on an ongoing basis, offering consistency and the chance to become an integral part of the school community.
The Role
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.
- Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire confidence and achievement.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Work collaboratively with the established Maths department.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Mathematics within UK secondary schools.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge.
- Is adaptable, reliable and committed to achieving the best outcomes for students.
- Available to work four days per week on an ongoing basis.
