Position: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Waltham Forest
Start date: September 2026
The Role
The successful candidate will teach Product Design and Resistant Materials across Key Stages 3 and 4. They will deliver engaging practical and theory‑based lessons that inspire students to develop creativity, technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills. The role is part of a collaborative Design & Technology department that values innovation, high‑quality teaching and excellent student outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Teach Product Design and/or Resistant Materials at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge.
- Commit to raising attainment and supporting students of all abilities.
- Obtain an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
